A database of detrital zircon U–Pb ages in the North China Craton from the Paleoproterozoic to the early Palaeozoic

Abstract U–Pb dating of detrital zircon is widely used in geology to identify the source sediments and constrain palaeogeography tectonic history. We collected from Paleoproterozoic early Palaeozoic strata understand North China Craton's geological chronological characteristics. After screening sorting out data information, we managed analysed 84 papers 2006 2022. Three hundred seventy‐nine samples comprising 29,431 pieces ages zircons gathered Proterozoic Ordovician sedimentary rocks Craton (NCC). Detrital within five areas NCC, i. e., Xuhuai Basin, Zhaertai‐Bayan Obo‐Huade Yanliao Xiong'er Basin Alxa Block, are discussed detail. Meanwhile, 2,588 Lu‐Hf study. This Database can be helpful understanding explaining evolution NCC Early Palaeozoic.
